About Us
My name is Bonita Mercurio. I am excited to be in my thirteenth year of teaching at OFES. I have had a passion for teaching since I earned my BA from Warren Wilson College in 2002. I pursued and earned my NBPTS in 2008. In 2013, I earned my Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Gardner-Webb University. I enjoy nature, hiking, and coaching our school's Leaders on Track Running Clubs. I am excited to be teaching 5th grade this year.
